On November 6th, 2012, Colorado voters passed Amendment 64: the legislation which finally legalized the recreational use, possession, and cultivation of cannabis. It was also the groundbreaking measure that finally unlocked the key to regulated commercial growing. Now more than two years later, still-booming demand has proven large-scale cultivation invaluable to the state’s thriving marketplace.

Amassing tens of millions of dollars in tax revenue alone just this past year, the Rocky Mountain state has retained its standing as a positive example for cannabis regulation. Especially as reports continue to pour in about advanced medicinal properties surrounding certain strains of the plant, such Colorado’s own CBD-rich “Charlotte’s Web”, legislation continues to evolve around the state’s expanding industry.
